NORTH OF LILLOOUETT

Cotton, wool, acrylic and metallic paint, dye pen. Rayon, cotton, nylon and metallic threads. Hand painted, machine quilted, embroidered and needle punched, machine and hand finished. Conception of the artist's painting came directly for a satellite photo of clear-cut areas of forest north of Lilloouett, BC.  Martha Jablonski Jones painted directly onto muslin which was layered and quilted by Judy Villett. Finally the clouds were needle punched with a machine embellisher.
